The 7-Minute Path
Q. I have been ill for years, dealing with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have given up hope of ever feeling better. What can your program do for me?

A. Our program may be able to do many things for you! First,
you will have someone to listen…really listen to you, five days a week for 13 weeks. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is one of those illnesses that frequently does not get the attention it should. You will get a chance to deepen your motivation for self-care by exploring what makes your life force stronger vs. weaker. You will be encouraged to use your mind/body connection to strengthen your awareness of what is whole and well in your life. Can you feel better by shifting your awareness and perception to what is life-affirming, while being deeply heard? We've seen it happen.

Q. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m terrified. What should I do?

A. Clear Presence supports individuals working with their health care providers to determine the most appropriate treatment path. Clear Presence offers you an opportunity to explore on a daily basis what is most healing for you as you open your heart to what could be a major turning point in your life. An added benefit is to become part of the Clear Presence community…with individuals who are sharing your journey.

Q. I’ve been in a support group for the last year. I care about the people and they have helped me a little, but most individuals in the group have breast cancer, not ovarian cancer. I just can’t relate to them. What does The 7-Minute Path offer that would be more aligned with my needs?

A. Well, what we have to offer depends on your needs. If your needs include cultivating a greater sense of peace in your life, then this group can help. Our groups do combine individuals who have different diagnoses. However, our participants DO NOT give advice, referrals or recommendations. Participants in our groups quite simply hold a caring space for each other. You are encouraged to explore which areas in your life can still give you peace. Besides being a cancer patient, you may also be a brother, mother or friend. You may love flowers or your cat. Sometimes parts of us get lost when our body calls out for attention. The loneliness of managing an illness can be unbearable at times. Learning how to care for all parts of you may help shift your perception and engage your mind/body into a state of healing. Using Clear Presence tends to strip away our judgment of others. We are all allowed equal time and space to express and explore our needs. We are all interested in healing…and in this we are all on a similar path.
